BRICS Student Commission hosted its prestigious Awards and Gala Dinner Night at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga. Held under the theme *‘Youth Entrepreneurship as a Catalyst for Economic Growth’*, the evening brought together young leaders, policy influencers and partners committed to driving innovation and inclusive development.
This night held immense significance as we celebrated outstanding institutions and individuals whose contributions have shaped the journey of the Commission. Awards were proudly presented to the University of Zululand for being the initiator institution of the BRICS Student Commission, to H.E. Former President Jacob Zuma for his historical role in championing South Africa’s participation within BRICS, and to the Moses Kotane Research Institute for its continued support in knowledge production and youth empowerment.
